Mosaic

Orchid Pediatrics ADHD Clinic at Mosaic

Orchid Pediatrics at Mosaic offers a multidisciplinary ADHD clinic for children and youth, designed to be thoughtful, practical, and neurodiverse-friendly.

The clinic brings together medical care, pharmacy support, and family-centered follow-up in one coordinated setting. Our goal is to make ADHD care clearer, safer, and easier to navigate for families.
This clinic is led by Dr. Joy Eberhardt DeMaster, a developmental and behavioral pediatrician, in collaboration with the Mosaic Pharmacy and Clinic team.

What this clinic provides

The ADHD clinic provides planned care for children and youth who need ADHD assessment, medication planning, or ongoing ADHD follow-up.
Care may include:

  • ADHD assessment and diagnostic clarification
  • Review of school, home, and developmental concerns
  • Medication initiation and adjustment when appropriate
  • Monitoring of medication response and side effects
  • Follow-up support around sleep, appetite, nutrition, emotional regulation, school functioning, and family goals
  • Coordination with Mosaic Pharmacy for medication safety, refill reliability, and pharmacist support

The clinic is designed with neurodivergent children and families in mind. We aim to create a lower-demand, respectful, and supportive environment where families feel heard and children are not expected to “perform” neurotypical comfort in a medical setting.

What this clinic does not provide

This clinic provides planned ADHD care. It does not provide urgent care, emergency mental health care, or crisis services. Families should not use this clinic for:

  • urgent safety concerns
  • mental health crisis support
  • emergency medication concerns
  • same-day urgent pediatric issues
  • broad developmental or medical concerns outside the ADHD clinic scope

If a child is at immediate risk of harm, families should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Appointment format

The clinic is launching with in-person appointments on Thursday mornings. Virtual care may be added later once the clinic’s virtual care platform is fully available. Appointment length depends on the child’s needs and whether they already have an ADHD diagnosis.

Integrated pharmacy model

Because this clinic uses an integrated physician-pharmacy model for ADHD medication safety and follow-up, ADHD prescriptions from this clinic must be filled through Mosaic Pharmacy. This allows the physician and pharmacy team to coordinate care, monitor refills, support families between visits, and reduce medication safety risks. Mosaic Pharmacy can also support controlled-substance tracking, planned dispensing intervals, signatures from authorized agents, and delivery when appropriate. Families who prefer to use another pharmacy may choose a different care pathway outside this clinic model.

Our approach

ADHD care works best when it is collaborative, practical, and respectful. This clinic is built around:

  • clear communication
  • predictable follow-up
  • medication safety
  • family partnership
  • neurodiversity-affirming care
  • coordination between physician, pharmacy, and clinic staff

We know many families arrive after long waits, confusing systems, or care that did not feel like a good fit. Our goal is to offer ADHD care that is organized, compassionate, and realistic for everyday family life.   Please send referrals directly to Mosaic so patients can be booked as soon as possible.

Referrals

A referral is required. Referrals may be submitted by:

  • family physicians
  • nurse practitioners
  • psychiatrists
  • optometrists
  • midwives

Psychology referrals are not accepted as formal medical referrals for this clinic.
